Situated across venues in and around West Kirby including facilities at Greenbank Road, Anglesey Road, Hilbre High School and Calday School the club are proud to be a Charter Standard Community Club catering for boy and girls alike.
The club formed from the merger of West Kirby’s two long standing junior clubs, West Kirby Wasps and West Kirby Panthers in the summer of 2017. The merger was designed to maximize the opportunities to develop class leading venues at our partner sites through the scale that the merger created.
West Kirby United are the largest junior football club on the Wirral and one of the largest in the UK with nearly 1000 players spread across over 90 teams from U5s to U21s.
The number of teams we produce per age group allows us to transition from 5v5 into 7v7, 9v9 and ultimately 11v11 effectively managing the process to ensure we keep kids involved and reduce drop out rate seen at other clubs as teams fold due to not being able to increase squad sizes.
Out mini league and junior boys and mixed teams play in the Eastham and District Mini and Junior League, our girls teams in the Wirral Girls League and our U21s in the North West U21 Development League.
