The team started life in the second division of the Liverpool Women and Girls League in the 2025/26 season. It had a successful first season and won promotion to the first division.
It is a relatively young team, but has a lot of well established and talented players — many of whom came up through the club's youth football.
The women's team is the top of a pathway that starts at U7. See the girls' section for how that works.
